My Weekend (Cont.).... Protest!!

Well the next mourn came and was woken up at 8:00 in the morning when Rich left too go get tickets (tickets went on sale at ten). He said I could crash for a few more hours until I had too leave to go to meet up with protesters at the Rock n' Roll McCrap downtown. We were protesting about the unfair treatment of the animals and exploitation of the workers and an all around Anti-Capitalist protest , handing out flyers and the such. But today was another disapointment. The weather was HORRIBLE, it started snowing and the wind was up to 60 miles per hour. So instead of the big turn out like we thought we were going to have (around a 100), there were only like 30 people that were willing too bare the cold. It also ruined our plan of walking down town from McCrap too McCrap. We also had planned on car pooling everyone and heading too the world headquarters of McCrap in Oak Brook. Some of us still decided to go. The president of the company found out about these flyers awhile ago and wanted too see one. Well we decided to go and give him a personal visit. Well when we got there oufcourse the security guard didn't let us in and lied saying that the president wasn't there. So we just left a few flyers taped up around the building and slid one under the main doors. It was so windy out that one the signs cracked and flew out of this one kids hands and almost took my head off!! Well in the end we all thought it was pretty much a waste of time seeing as the weather was bad and not a very big turn out as we were expecting. We got back too the city and found out that the guy that was driving us was a big industrial fan and was a big Skinny Puppy fan. So we talked about industrial and how that right-wing fascists have been taking ahold of the scene since late 80's (*coughs* Thomas Thorn of Electric Hellfire Club and Boyd Rice) and also about Black Metal. Anyways I was dropped off at the A-Zone, a Chicago Anarchist bookstore and picked up an album from this band Wolfpack. They are fucking hardcore crustypunk/hardcore/metal. They kick major ass! I got home finally a few hours later and found out that the train I was on had stopped for the night due too some problems on the track! I was lucky too get home when I did. I also found out that this scaffel had fallen of the Hancock building only a few blocks away from we were and killed 3 people! (due too the wind)Anyways well the WCOTC (World Church Of The Creator) an Illinois based Neo-Nazi group led by Matt Hale is holding another meeting, this time at the Chicago Public Library. So I am expecting a very big turnout too this event by Anti-Racist Action, CRAYON, SHARP/RASH,other Anarchists and locals too protest against these Racist Fascist fucks!! It's March 23rd. It's the day that I finally get my Shroud tattoo! It will be a good day, I get too destroy some Nazi Bonehead fucks in the day and get a tattoo that night. I can't wait!!!......

My weekend...

Well it was Friday afternoon and couldn't wait too get out of class too get ready for the Lydia Lunch show at the Abbey Pub here in Chicago. I got ready and was out the door by 6:00 and the show started at 7:00. I would of made on time too my friends house where we were going too leave from to go to the show, but the train on Orange line of the loop got stuck on the track for like 20 min.!! By the time I got off the the redline up on the north side and got too her house, they had left! So now I had too call up home and find out how too get there from public transportation. It was 7:30 by now and the opening group was probably still on so no big deal. I walked over too Belmont ave. and luckily a bus came within 5 min. Well there was another bus I had too get on after that one and it took atleast a half an hour for that bus too come! I got on and it took about another 20 min. too get where I needed too get off. Then I had too walk like 3 long city blocks too the pub. Right as I got there the show was letting out!! I found out that she wasn't performing with a band she was doing a spoken word. Well luckily my friends were still there and I saw them inside, so I told the guy at the door that I needed too pick them up so I could get inside and tell them what happened. Well Lydia was still talking too some people so I decided too buy an album with the money that was supposed to go towards the show. I went up too her so she could sign the cd and get a picture. I told her what happened also and she gave me a another cd for free! After that we left and went back too the apartment too eat. Since it was still early we decided to go out and walk around and go to the Alley clothing store since it was near by. My friend Jen who has a pair of goggles (you know the kind that Sneaky Bat from Goteki wears) and she let me wear them. It was an awesome night! The weather was like 60 degrees that night. Well since it was a Friday night and the weather was nice, Belmont was FULL up yuppie fucks. The streets were crowded. So I decided too take the goggles and put them on like regular goggles, around my eyes. It was funny freaking the crap out of the yuppies walking down the street like that :). After that we decided too go back too the apartment for the night. I had a camera with me that I was going too use for the show that night but ended up not using it. So Jen decided too take a few photos off me. I had plans for the next day and they both had too be up early (her and her bf)also. She had too work and her bf had too pick up Siouxsie and the Banshee tickets (which I cant afford too go to, those bastards!! :b) I couldn't wait for the next day too come......
